Skye practices family law in the Durham, Orange, Chatham, and Wake County courts. She joined the law practice of Woodmansee & Szombatfalvy, PLLC in 2015, after practicing law and conducting mediations for more than 20 years in the fields of family law, real property law, and product liability/complex civil litigation.

Using her legal experience and negotiating skills both in and out of the courtroom, Skye is able to successfully develop legal strategies that assist her clients in achieving desired results. She understands that the issues facing her clients are close-to-the-heart and often stressful. Skye focuses on developing strong working relationships with her clients and with opposing counsel, allowing her to avoid unnecessary conflict while focusing on crafting balanced, economical solutions for her clients.

Skye and her husband, William Mills, an attending with the UNC Pediatric Emergency Division, have two children. Skye enjoys music, watching her kids many sports activities, and taking hikes with her husband and dogs. When time allows, she plays tennis and makes jewelry.
