Amy Plesser

Amy Plesser joined Woodmansee & Szombatfalvy, PLLC in August 2014, as a paralegal to Ms. Woodmansee. Born and raised in New York, Amy had her first taste of the south when she did her undergraduate work at Duke University. Following that, she returned to New York City to pursue her career as a commodities trader in the financial industry. Amy and her wife moved back to Durham twenty-four years ago to raise their two children, whom Amy home-schooled among an intentional community of like-minded parents. She is an avid tennis player, an enthusiastic traveler, and creative vegetarian cook.
